At West Salem Elementary we are fortunate to be able to provide extra support in reading and writing through small groups known as resource groups. These groups are taught by the school's Reading Specialists, Ms. Myers and Mrs. Smith.The purpose of the group lessons are to strengthen students' reading and writing skills among his or her peers. Groups normally meet daily for 30 minutes and support classroom instruction in both reading and writing.
